GIVING TO URBANLIFE

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: if either of them falls down, one can help the other up.

UrbanLife has diverse funding - grants, church partners, program income - but the biggest portion of our contributions come from generous individuals like YOU! It is people that give to people, helping see youth transformed and empowered to change their community.

So what is UrbanLife Village?

It is a group of committed people who are willing to support our ministry, whether that’s through one-time gifts or on a monthly, ongoing basis. This support helps our organization reach young people consistently, day after day, year after year. It means you help our students plan, dream, and grow. Join us, and make a difference in City Heights for generations to come!

There are two ways to join UrbanLife Village - you can give a one-time gift, or you can join our team of monthly donors.

WHY GIVE MONTHLY?

SUSTAINED SUPPORT

Monthly gifts enable us to invest in specific areas of our work, expand our programs, and innovate within the community because we know we have the support of UrbanLife Village.

ONE-TIME GIFTS

As part of UrbanLife Village, you are a part of something big. You are part of a community of people who are helping UrbanLife develop young people in City Heights into the doctors, educators, laborers, engineers, lawyers, and leaders of tomorrow.

Giving a one-time gift is a huge part of this. With a one-time gift you can change lives and impact the whole person. Whether it is providing students with academic support for the whole year, running shoes and a team atmosphere, or providing new work experiences by funding a new cafe location, you are making a difference in the life of a young person.

MONTHLY DONATIONS

UrbanLife Village’s monthly donors are people willing to support our ministry on a monthly, ongoing basis. This regular support and long-term commitment means we will be able to expand our programs and reach more students in City Heights.

Recurring monthly donations have multiple benefits, including building a foundation that will allow us to eventually reach students as early as 3rd grade, and helping us keep our administrative costs low, which means that every penny you donate goes directly where it is needed most - developing young leaders in City Heights.

EXAMPLES OF WHAT YOUR DONATION CAN FUND:

SUMMER CAMP - $30 A MONTH
Send 5 students to summer camp.

INTERNSHIPS - $50 A MONTH
Fund leadership opportunities for a high school or college student through an internship.

SCHOLARSHIPS - $100 A MONTH
Fund a college scholarship for a graduating senior.

UrbanLife is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization (Tax ID/EIN # 27-2778158). All donations are tax deductible.

UCSD Class of 2025

“If it wasn't for UrbanLife, I'd be lost with myself honestly, but most importantly I'd be lost with God. Before I came to UrbanLife, I had closed myself off from God. My life wasn’t healthy and it was only becoming more confusing. The first day I came to UrbanLife, I was not planning on connecting with God. I just went to have a more productive day. Eventually I realized there was a bigger picture to UrbanLife. Despite all of the madness this year, experiencing that connection with God helped me overcome many hardships.”
