Apprentice for urbanlife southeast
Abigail was born and raised in City Heights. She was introduced to UrbanLife her sophomore year at Crawford high school, and went to WoodLeaf (a YoungLife camp) that summer. There she decided to begin a journey with God. In high school she was very involved with UrbanLife, its leadership, and Sunday services. Through different initiatives at UrbanLife, trips and accidentally choosing a Public health BA, she found it to be the perfect match! Abigail graduated from SDSU in May 2015 with a Public health BA. Although she thought she would then pursue something recognizable in her field, God called her to serve with the UrbanLife family. She spends most of her time in South East San Diego where she teaches about urban farms, health, nutrition and food access in our communities.
